Cassenas RZ is an iceberg lettuce with strong growth and long field standability for spring cultivation. The variety has a round head shape with plenty of outer leaves and shows reliable and early head formation even under low light conditions in spring. Due to its flat leaf veins and upright base, Cassenas RZ is easy to harvest and pack. Cassenas RZ can be marketed flexibly for the fresh market and processing and is strong against bolting, internal tipburn and brown ribs.
